The Revitalization Committee has events planned for Memorial Day weekend. They will be hosting a 5K race, vendor fair, parade, street dance and fireworks on May 25th.

The parade starts at 11:00 on May 25.  The parade will assemble on Woodlawn Drive and proceed down Main St. to State Street and end at the Fire Hall. There will be a vendor and craft fair on Main Street all day on Saturday. Set up time is Saturday morning at 7 am until 5 pm. There will be a street dance on Main St. also, from 7 – 9 pm.  And the fireworks will start at dusk. There will be a Little Ms. ROAR & Little Mr. ROAR pageant, contestants will ride in the parade and judging will be at noon at the kids corner in the Russell Church parking lot. There will also be a cornhole tournament at Larimer Park; this is a team event and registration will be at 1:00 with the competition starting at 2:00.
